how?
Read the topic title. Now read what the last page of posts are mostly about. That makes perfect sense. I did not think of it that way - I hardly ever use the PM system, its just natural for me to approach AtM when I have a moderation concern. The big problem with that is that it would make it more difficult for us to do our job, especially when we need to moderate people who are our friends, or who are notorious for not taking moderations well. Also, I have no interest whatsoever in being bombarded with PMs from every user I moderate demanding explanations when the reason, more often than not, should have been completely clear to the user.
Trust me - if you were a moderator, you would not want to be on call 24/7, and you would not want to dread moderating 20 posts, knowing you'll be dealing with 15 angry PMs later that day.

Oh, u so clever =]Oh, and I also think they should remove the thumbs up / thumbs down stuff. At least have the options to remove them in blogs. (or at least have only thumbs up in blogs).the_foreign_guyLook at this guy.
The general rule of Off-topic is that after X amount of posts, the topic gets derailed and turns into something else. Let me use a math equation. Let f(x) = derailment quality f(x) = [number of posts / users).^2 + (number of mods / derivative of quality of OT].^2]^.(1/2) *notice that quality of OT ranges from 1-10, which can be gotten by further deriving the OT's post per minute and multiplying it by the natural log of the traffic.the_foreign_guy

I graduated high school years ago and I'm still lost. No idea what any of that means. :P
Can we remove a couple of stickys in OT or at least compile them into one area? Too much clutter.the_foreign_guyOr ADD another one! =D

I think it means that if we were to derive f(x) we could find the gradient function and therefore the point at where a thread begins a negative trend and eventually the constant for (x) where a thread should be locked. Just a theory :DI miss the layout in 06. It was perfect. Maneuvering around this site was silky smooth compared to how it is now. Once they changed the layout, it became extremely sluggish to travel around this site. Just about killed a lot of unions since a lot of people didn't like the load time it took to get to their unions. Well....it was one of my main reasons for my inactivity in unions....I miss the old Gamespot layout.:(

Just a theory :DI can't even solve equations, and I have never derived or integrated anything in my life, so I still don't get it. I suck at math, and in all honesty, I'd like to keep it that way. :P
