I'd much rather speak Russian. That it's not a commonly used language (at least where I'm at, in CA) is a benefit, as there would be a high demand for those who speak Russian which would create great opportunities and nice pay to boot. Plus I hear Russian is an extremely difficult language to learn.
I suppose it would all depend on where you live though.
I already speak fluent Spanish, so having the ability to speak fluent Russian sounds like a great plus as well.
The Russian power would be cooler. Neither language is useful at all for me, except for insulting people so they can't understand it. Too many people know Spanish for it to be used in that way. Not many people know Russian, though, so I could use it for that.
Plus, I already know how to say "Shut up you pineapple" in Russian ;)
