I mean in any context, video games or not.

I think I like Easy then hard, because there is a sense of reward at the end.

(no sexual jokes intended :P )

and to persuade anyone who is clueless:

Hard makes other things easier

Easy tends to make other things harder

In the middle leaning more towards hard. I like to have a challenge in tasks, but not to the point where it starts to annoy me.

If you mean specifically in a gaming sense, easy. I play games for fun, not for another headache.

hard,

if theres no challenge then its just boring,

even if its fustrating and cheap its sitll better than easy cause when you beat the fustratign part you have such a sense of accomplishment where as you beat easy and you feel like its just another fight

I like to start out slow and easy then get harder and faster later on.

Interpret this as you want.

In terms of video games if theres three difficulties then easy, if theres four than normal. In life I see it as hard things make you feel really good after accomplishing them but its not worth much if its insignificant. It doesn't matter the difficulty in life for me, just the significance. If it means a lot then it won't make too much difference the difficulty although easy would be preferred.

I like somewhere in the middle . Where on a big boss fight there's a sense of accomplishment after you beat it but but not to where you are pulling your hair out every five minutes .

Easy, always. Allows me to enjoy and feel out the little things more, and contrary to the popular saying, I NEVER learn more from anything that's hard other than "wow, this whole thing sucks." If I could get by on life breaking nuts as opposed to breaking rocks, I'm f***ing picking the nuts.

I picked easy by accident. I rather it be easy than hard. To me L.A. Noire is Hard.. then Harder.. than Hardest. lol

Well, I certainly don't do things the hard way if the easy way is just-as-good or better. Why make things needlessly difficult?

However, the hard way often offers very clear advantages over doing it the easy way. Sometimes, the easy way truly is "half-assing it". And in those cases, I just do it the RIGHT way.

i dunno. i take things as they come. if they are easy good coz i am lazy, if they are hard get up to the challege. in the end what matters is the effort you put (whether hard or easy) is it worthwhile

Hard is what I like the best, but i'll take medium, as long as its challenging. Easy is a waste of time.

Easy enough that I can finish it but hard enough to give me a challenge.

In terms of games harder brings more challenge and that is good. Of talking about the two extremes then hard may make something unplayable and frustrating why easy is unchallenging and basically going through the motions. Easy extreme is still playable and story and presentation may make up for it. Can still have fun. Let's say a class. It depends on the class I suppose . A less important class(in regards to me) that is really easy may be good because I can focus on the more important classes. If it is too easy for an important class then that can be bad because I may not be learning all that I need to or learning valuable skills that are neccesary. Let's say a person has easy classes all the time but then hits a point where the classes are no longer easy but very difficult. They have been use to not having to put forth much effort or time and now are not prepared for the responsibility. Of people have easy classes all the time then likely they may not be learning much or how to learn.

I prefer normal if available, if not, easy so I could get the feel of the game. I don't read instruction manuals so I prefer not to go at a punishable setting first....
