There's also the fact that after spending possibly hundereds of years in space, we will have already made new, possibly even more important discoveries by then. So not much point really :P And I can't imagine they'd have much hope of ever returning.

There are many things I wish can exist, either now or in the near future, yep, the following may not be likely to be real, but definitely some I'd say are far from being impossible to exist, there's so many unknown mysteries this universe holds... anyway, the following I'd love to see exist are: Time Travel, Aliens, Ghosts, The powers of Telekinesis and Telepathy, The power of Invincibility, The Fountain of Youth, Big Foot, Abominable Snowman, Lochness Monster, Angels, Spirits, Many different Gods/Goddesses, and one Ultimate God and/or Goddess, the ultra-powerful spirits of Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ... and there might be a few more, but I think i got the gist of it.

Jesus, and the Christian God. This would assure I would burn in hell, granted, but it would mean my mother (RIP, Mom) would be granted eternal happiness and a new body free of the pain that was her daily burden the last few years of her life. I'd be glad to burn forever for her to get that.
