What's the best cookie?

So I just got back from one of my campus's cafeterias and they often serve cookies along with whatever you order. Unfortunately they usually only have one kind of cookie on hand on any single day and you never know what type it will be. Usually it seems to be peanut-butter or pecan cookies, although if you get lucky they'll have chocolate chip. This strikes me as weird because I LOVE chocolate chip cookies and I've always been under the impression that my affection for those delicious speckled bastards was shared by the majority of the rest of the population as well.

So, as I sit here and eat my dry, unsatisfying pecan cookies I want to know: OT, what's your favorite type of cookie?

Peanut butter + chocolate chip + oatmeal + chewy freshness (also good frozen and chewy) = epic win.

Nothing beats plain chocolate chip for me. Especially right out of the oven.

I've come to learn that nothing will ever beat a warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. When I mean warm, I mean when you pick it up it almost starts to fall apart in your hands. All you need then is a cold glass of milk to wash it down.

Finally a topic I know about... I love to bake so I bake cookies all the time. Choc. chip is probably my fav because it's a good old standby but I love many kinds. I don't like to discriminate when it comes to cookies. I know what's NOT the best and sadly it's the Nutella cookies I just made. I'll have to work on those.

Don't know, really. I know I've never really liked sugar cookies. Too plain in my opinion.

I do like chocolate chip cookies, but only if they're the thick ones with big chocolate chips. They're good after you re-bake them in a toaster.

Precisely. And then you feel guilty if you don't eat them because that's wasting food, but you're not as happy as you should be when you do eat them. Before the Nutella cookies I made basic choc. chip and our oven seriously lost its mind for those. Some turned out okay but it still put me in a mood for the Nutella ones. Cuz if the oven's off then good freaking luck. Anyway. :P

Okay while I wasn't quite thinking of packaged cookies when responding to this topic... Golden Oreos with the chocolate cream are ridiculous. There are addicting substances in those cookies, I just know it.

Glad to see someone mentioned Oreos...but what about original Oreos? Those are best imo. Although I do enjoy chocolate chip too.
