What's the best state in the U.S.?

Hawaii.

For me, Texas. It's got great weather all year round (except nights in Fall or Winter), and the people are nice, and they have a TON of adult shops all around their big cities :P

Washington is awesome.Loved it.

I live in Wisconsin, but it's not the best state. :P I have only been to Illinois and Michigan though so I can't tell you. :(

I'm from Ireland and I went to America a few years ago.Visited various states... out of them all, I thought Washington was a really beautiful state.The others were awesome too though, as soon as I'm 21 I'm going back.

Alright, let me rephrase that: Except for Anchorage and what Alaskans call "summer", Alaska is a godforsaken hellscape. And unless you live in Anchorage your closest company is going to be bears and Russians. Actually, judging by that third picture it looks like even in Anchorage you're going to be running into bears on a very regular basis.

I've only been to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Georgia, Colorado, and Lousiana. I can honestly say out of all those states I've been too, Colorado has been a lot of fun a lot of neat places to visit especially in Colorado Springs.

I would however like to visit Oregon someday, because it seems real nice. My friend has an Uncle that lives in Oregon and they live up in the mountains. Looks awesome.

TEXAS! All of our big cities offer lots of fun for all types of people. Yes, the majority of people are red reppin conservatives, but it's not like that everywhere. I live in Austin, and love it. I just wish we would look into decriminalizing marijuana or even recognizing it for medical use.

Of the states I have visited, the worst was NJ, and the best was...TEXAS. NY wasn't bad.

Tennessee's pretty good. No income tax and other taxes are low. Plenty of nature reserves, state and national parks, farmland, rivers, and mountains for the nature fans. You can get good paying jobs in any one of the big Metro areas.

Negatives would be all the religious people, lack of entertainment venues( though there are quite a few music festivals,) landlocked state.

From all the states I've been to, which is all of them east of Wyoming, I'd rather either live here or in Colorado.

I'm from Illinois, and I really like it. It''s pretty varied landscape, from hilly almost mounainous regions to flat plains and vast seemingly endless fields. In addition to our geography, our weather is also quite unusual. We've got everything from super hot summers to icy freezing winters, and everything in between, without getting the worst of either.

Hawai'i It's small, an island, has other islands i can go to chill and other stuff, love the weather, and it has a peaceful thing to it. Or NY but just for the food :P

But florida has like 2 cities in the top 25 most dangerous cities and NYC doesn't even come close to anywhere on the list. I love florida a lot, but let me ask you something. Wheres the nearest corner stores? Do they have an extremely dirt subway that can take you anywhere you need to be? Also we get snow! Also "cute white girls" wouldn't be a plus for me as i like looking at ALL women not just white and NY offers that! lol
