What's the BEST thing your country has ever done.

My country: U.S.

We liberated Europe and won WWII. I think that's the best thing we've ever done.

*EDIT* I would like to formally apologize to all other countries that I neglected to mention that were involved with the liberation of Europe. I'm only human.

Yeah... we did great allowing allied countrys to get beat to hell, until oops, one of our bases gets hit. Then we decided to fight.

Oh, yeah, anyways. Ummm, We built Disneyland. That rules. :lol:

I honestly didn't.. but u and jointed took it as an insult in another thread so I figured I'd use it again to push your buttons.

I just know, I'm living in the USA right now, went swimming in my pool, then ate a full home cooked meal a little while ago, worked out on my home gym inside of my 3,000 square foot house and am now watching the USA on the podium getting their 80 something medal of the olympics on my big lcd tv. I'll be sleeping sound tonight knowing I'll be safe here, because we got the nukes.

I'm not taking sides, but modern democracy was an American development, remember 'Teh Revolutionary War?' I do agree with you, though, about modern America. Rags to riches never works in the U.S. And neither does this 'American Dream.'
