A soldier in Okinawa told me it was junked and from the looks of the case, I was inclined to believe him, so he just gave it to me.

I got it home and turned it on, expecting it to red ring...but it started right up! So I just bought a 3rd party case, latched it on, and it's been running strong for 6 months.

Warranty?! It was free! :lol:
