I won't date anyone under sixteen, I'd go as far up as 19 right now. I'm 17, I think a lot of it has to do with the maturity of the person and their age. The older the two are, the less large (roughly five year) gap between the two seems. It all depends on the person I suppose and what they're in to.
I beg to differ. Why?[QUOTE="th3warr1or"] the youngest a 20 year old person should date is 17 gamerguru100
Meh, I guess I'd date girls as young as 14 and as old as 26 if I had the chance...
Right now, however, I'm dating a socially acceptable 20 year old girl and I couldn't be happier, so it doesn't really matter.
[QUOTE="gamerguru100"]I beg to differ. Why? Well, 20 year-olds are adults while 17 year-olds are still teenagers. It doesn't seem right to me.[QUOTE="th3warr1or"] the youngest a 20 year old person should date is 17 th3warr1or
I'm 22. I'd be willing to date 19, maybe 18. I usually aim for women my own age or older by a few years.
One year younger...( I'm 18 ). Currently not comfortable with the thought of dating someone older than me...ff7fan2
Did you get the idea for this thread from the creeper thread about the guy who likes young girls?

Not to mention that it may very well count as statutory rape if you have sex. :P
I looked up the word "statutory" in Dictionary.com and it's giving me crappy definitions I don't understand...:xWhat does the word mean?
I'm 20 and personally I would only go +/- 2 years.
The younger girls that crave a "mature" (older) guy are incapable of being as mature. Likewise, I wouldn't push my luck on a 25 year old woman and use her as some kind of maturity crutch. Most guys I know in there 20s dating someone in there teens have maturity issues.
I can't imagine why someone would want someone at a different maturity level / stage in life. I'd rather enjoy, explore and discover the wonders of life at the same time as my partner.
How boring would it be for those 25 year old women with 40 year old boyfriends? The man has been there and done that and would probably discourage the woman from trying something in life that he believes isn't worth it.

Statutory rape is basically rape as defined by sexual intercourse between a person over the age of consent and a person under the age of consent. Rape is when you have sex with someone against their will, but rather than standard rape where the woman was able to consent but did not do so, with statutory rape the person under the age of consent is considered not able to give consent, and as such it's considered rape no matter what - i.e., by statute.

Thanks for the explanation. It was much easier to understand than Dictionary.com.[QUOTE="GabuEx"]

I agree. As long as they are of legal age and I am attracted to them, I could care less about their age.

Fine, but not me. I dont like a woman that is too young for me. as long as not too big of a gap, tho I dont like a woman that older than me.... but then if she's my age and not my type, I wont go for it.
