Romero's Diary of the Dead. While its stupid that he cannot get better funding and a major studio deal,he seems reenergized. He does still know how to make the best zombie movies, and it was a lot better than land of the dead.mattykovax

i agree with this statement

Partly and also since I've kinda been outta cinema loop for a while I told it was a satirical comedy where Brides attempt to kill each other with various firearms. I believed that.

I think the last movie I saw in the theater was Burn After Reading. Good movie.

The other day I watched Birth, which was very dissapointing imo. I started to watch Bringing Out the Dead last night but fell asleep, so I'll be finishing that today.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. So freakin' boring. My god man. I usually don't have a problem with long movies, as I have a good attention span, but holy god man. Nothing interesting ever happens through the entire 2 1/2 hours. I really want to see The Wrestler but it's not playing anywhere around where I live. Thinking about seeing Gran Torino soon, too.

"The Poughkeepsie Tapes"

Creepy **** is really ****ing creepy. First time in a long time I have actually felt terrified to be alone in the dark. The last time was when I read "House of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski. Not a film for the faint of heart though... mind you, it would have been more effective had there been larger amounts of brutality. While I was watching it, I was getting the idea that this guy did some seriously heinous things and would have taped them all... but despite all the footage they "had" there really wasn't anything overly disturbing.

This was the creepiest scene in the film.

Saw it last night. It was amazing. The ending was crazy emotional and hardcore. And the rest of the movie was a hilarious and tasteful depiction of racism. Everyone should see it.

I think that is a film that gets better with repeat viewings.

OK Sam, I'll trust you here and watch it again in a few months. Some films are like that, Boogie Nights (coincidence) was one that I hated in theaters and love now.
