Calling someone a hater because they don't happen to like or care about any given popular commercial music product is kind of lazy and self congratulatory. I think the problem is when you make a statement that "everyone" is doing something, since this is never accurate. And saying stuff like that kind of makes you seem like a PR or publicity plant, even though I am sure you are not. : ) I wouldn't want to live in a world where everyone was doing the same thing, or liked the same stuff. Calling people who don't like the same thing you do a "hater" is basically saying there can be no legitimate criticism or lack of interest in something you like, which is childish.
