Sears/Willis tower and they have these boxed window things sticking out you could walk on so when you look down its just glass and you could see the city below.

Good question, I actually can't think of any, I've been in hotels and stuff and in a hot air balloon but I don't think I've ever been in a really tall building.

The lies about chairmen Mao are huge. Imperialism has destoryed the ablilty of people to see the truth. Most of the people get the whole 100 million dead from the black book of communsim where it was shown they made up numbers and changed numbers up to 10 times the real data.

Do these large buildings have their own tours for people who visit the city? A lot of them are attractions so I am wondering if a lot of these buildings have staff to give tours.

Centrepoint Tower in Sydney.

I went in the revolving restaurant and got to look over Sydney. It was nice.

thats an odd looking one

It's a giant syringe, built as a homage to Australia's love of heroin.

[QUOTE="JustBeYourself"][QUOTE="Fightingfan"]Mao did a good job industrializing China. Fightingfan
Huh? No he didn't.

You sure? What country owns the United States?

China only started to really get going with their economic development once the economic opening and reform began in the late 70s after Mao had died. Deng Xiaoping is the one who did a great job starting off China's development. Mao caused very little but famine, ecological disaster and social disorder.

Europeans are very proud and protective of their history and its artifacts and don't want their historic buildings and monuments being bulldozed to be replaced by modern skyscrapers.

Yeah take those ugly skyscrapers away from beatiful European cities.

On a serious note, it's a matter of setting. In a city such as New York, Chicago, and many others, skyscrapers look beautiful, but I wouldn't want a skysrcaper in a city such as Lisbon (or many others).
