what's the worst cover song you've heard?

The worst one I ever heard was a random guy on the Ultimate-Guitar Forums. He attempted to cover Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. Not only did his guitar sound like a tin cat screaming on a hot tin roof cover in tin needles, but he played everything two and a half times as fast as the backing track. It was so unfeasably bad I sent it to my friend who still has it buried deep within his hard drive.

But out of the ones by big bands, nothings compares to Avril Lavigne - Chop Suey and Sign - Run To The Hills.

Fallout Boy did a cover of "Walk" by Pantera. Words cannot explain the awfulness that was contained in that song, I just hope Phil Alselmo finds out and castrates every one of those tools :|

though the Behind Blue Eyes cover by Limp Bizkit and the Chop Suey cover by Avril Lavigne are tied for number 2.
