What's the worst thing a parent can say to you?

FAILURE!

Yeah. that you son.

Well, obviously it's "I Hate You."

But other than that it's crap that tell you they want you to respect them, like, "Don't turn your back when I talk to you." I have friends with parents like that, and it ticks ME off.

Worse thing?

"You're adopted, and we want a refund!"

"You were a mistake that I've regretted all of your life and any love that I seemed to have given you I gave to your younger brother tenfold."

I actually know a girl whose mother said this.

I know what you mean. I want to be a writer/director, but my parents just randomly decided that I would be a dentist like them, so they refuse to pay for anything that won't be going toward majoring in whatever dentist major in.

"After you graduate we would be happy to pay for your ways to becoming a dentist, but after you graduate me and your mother are moving out of here so you better get your act planned out or you could just move in with one of your friends in a ****ty apartment."

Me: "But I was thinking of being some sort of writer."

"I guess your moving in with your friends since writers don't need to go to college."
