K here's a story..
When I was in middle school, I went on Yahoo chats, found this girl my age, and decided that I wanted to be friends with her. We'd IM each other every day and talk for hours. One day she gave me her phone number. We started calling each other and such..she seemed really nice. Then one day I got on Yahoo IM and IMed her, but in responce I got IM's that read "this is her dad. but lets talk anyway," and I was just like, no thanks. He kept IMing me. Some of his IMs were really creepy/preverted, but I thought nothing of it and didn't tell anyone. Eventually after waiting for her dad to go away she IMed me, telling me about how her dad abuses her.
A day later the police call my dad and he asks me if I've been talking to this girl's dad, and I say yes. I don't really remember how this happened or how I was even involved, but they told my dad that the girl's dad got arrested for bringing a bomb to the post office.. My dad was really mad that he figured out I was IMing some stranger, and was yelling at me and such, and this was all when my friends were with me. I was really embarrassed.. but mostly scared, because I was stupid and I had given my phone number to this girl, and her dad was a huge creep. I couldn't sleep for the next few days, because I thought her dad would come after me.
