Whats with this emo trend?

EDIT : I have some skinny jeans. Every time I wear them I am called emo. I am not emotional... but for a strange reason I am emo because of my clothing. This is stupid.

Emo stands for emotional hardcore. It was shortened to emo-core and then just emo. It's a genre of music.

To an extent.

In my opinion, according to their "theory", they believe nobody cares about them and the feel lonely, they "have" emotional problems so they try to gain attention. I don't know too much about them, that's just what I think.:roll:-iKd7x-

Also, like basic said, you are all misapplying the term. The kids that have the weird hair/ tight clothes are now called "scene" kids. Emo is basically dead already. And yea girls love straight hair, mmm, mmm =)

haha i know there are kids like that still around but i did not know that they changed their name.
