What's worse?: Visiting the doctor or visiting the dentist

Got this idea from the doctor-hating thread.

I think I have to go with the dentist. I hate getting poked and prodded and scraped and stabbed in general, but it's 100x worse when it's in your mouth. Not to mention the horrible smell and the bright lights and the fact that they all look like serial killers in those masks and gloves. And then they floss you and blood flicks out every once in a while until they're fingers and your little bib is covered in your own blood and spit. :x:cry:

On a positive note, there are a large amount of pretty dentists/dentist assistants out there. Shocking to say the least.dracula_16

Last year I switched to a different dentist and every time a different assistant shows up all I can think is "..damn! :o"

Dentist is more painful generally and takes longer. Plus, you don't get to do fun things like turn your head and cough at the dentist.helium_flash

I hate going to my doctor cause it takes forever for him to come see me and I just wait in the room for like an hour. I dont hate either one though cause I want to go into the medical field.raylewisnfl52

On a serious note, I just don't see any reason to hate visiting either. I mean, the only reason I'd ever go to either would be to benefit my health in some way. It's not like I'm ever being forced to go either.

I had my wisdom teeth removed just 3 weeks ago :| I had a sedation to have my wisdom teeth removed. Because of this, my operation did not hurt at all, but my wallet was seriously injured because sedations are expensive. Yeah, I hate the dentist more.PandaBear86

Doctor because sometimes they say you're about to die in a 75% chance.

Dentist: Metal in my mouth.

Doctor: Prostate exam.

I strongly prefer the doctor.

But the worst of them all is the optometrist. :cry:
