Economics major, finance minor. I was in engineering, but chose to go the economics route when I realized how much calculus would be required of me. Of course, the joke was on me, as the econometrics side of economics has almost as much calculus. My main reason was avoiding the general rule of thumb - where people who can't hack engineering drop down to computer science. I wasn't going to be one of those computer science guys. Weird dudes, too. I had a few classes with them, and they're truly disturbing - they write anime fanfiction in assembly.DJ_Laeonly the strong survive engineering  at the start of my freshman year like at least a third of the kids who were in engineering my freshman year had disappeared... we were all like where the hell did they all go???

at my school cs was taught though the college of arts and sciences instead of the college of engineering.. pretty much an entirely different course load with the general perception that collage of arts and science classes were less rigorous that engineering classes. my roommate freshman year was a cs major.. he always seemed to have way for free time on his hands though out our time there than myself and my eng pals...[QUOTE="_en1gma_"][QUOTE="comp_atkins"] to us arrogant engineers it is :Pcomp_atkins

Hmm...weird...it's under engineering at my university..and the courses are just as, if not more, rigorous.Got a B.A. with a double major in geography (specializing in disaster response/relief) and history (focus on 19th century Europe).
Then I got an associate science degree in geography specializing in geomorphology and Geographic Information Systems
Then I got certified as an EFL teacher.
Then I got into water quality engineering. I'm currently on an 8 month co-op work term and will head back for my final year in January.
Right now I'm at community college. I'll be done by this spring then I'll transfer and Im looking at a bachelors in mathematics, and from there I can go into a number of fields like engineering, or comupter science or get a masters in mathematics.Agent-ZeroYeah that's a good idea. Lots of people look down on community college but I have lots of intelligent friends that do it, then transfer, because it's cheaper. Good luck!
I'm two years into an aerospace engineering degree.Dark__LinkEngineering is pretty popular at cuse. My whole dorm was pretty much engineering or either some type of pre health profession. I'm one year into a bio/biochemistry degree and taking on an international relations major.
Nuerobilogy, Physiology & Behavior (mainly focusing on the physiology part of that though (specifically human physiology)).
