there are a couple berries Ive had before, but theyre kind of hard to get.
The first is wild strawberry. These are a tiny berries, about the size of a raspberry, but they have the most intense strawberry flavor ever. I also had a gooseberry once and it was pretty awesome too.
In general though I really love a nice, ripe strawberry. Dip that sucker in sour cream, then a bit of brown sugar....ooooooh lordie that is some good eats.
It's... hairy :\ Yeah :? D: that color makes it look quite not tasty[QUOTE="xaos"][QUOTE="akbar13"]

It's... hairy : All raspberry's are hairy... You can see the hairs better with a high quality picture. No wonder I don't eat raspberries; blech. They could at least shave them or wash them in Nair first[QUOTE="xaos"][QUOTE="akbar13"]

Why not; we stole the vanilla part from an episode of Terminator; no lie =)ive been adding vanilla to my batter since I was like six, I was talking about the blueberries and butterscotch chips. That sounds like an epic combo. I always want to add stuff to my pancakes but chocolate chips just dont do it anymore
Saskatoon berries. Absolutely delicious in pie.

They look tasty, almost resemble big blueberries.
do they taste similiar to any other berry?

Raspberries would be my fist choice, with blackberries being a close second. Wild gooseberries are also good, but eating them can be difficult before learning to get around the spikes.
I think I'll go with fresh Strawberries.-Fromage-If I wanted to get pedantic I would say that strawberries arent really berries. I choose banana.
[QUOTE="-Fromage-"]I think I'll go with fresh Strawberries.LockedgeBut strawberries aren't actually berries :o They're part of the Rose family of plants, enlarged ends of the plant's stamen. Interesting, no?
yea, and pecans are actually legumes (closer to a bean than a nut), but I am still calling them a nut lol
connotation > denotation

Same here, I've never been a big fan of blueberries.Strawberries. Second would be raspberries.

There used to be heaps of mulberry trees around here so when I was a kid we'd just spend all day climbing and eating from mulberry trees. Nom nom nom.
