Light, crispy British pancakes will always be superior to the thick, stodgy American ones 8)tofu-lion91Aren't those kind of pancakes (pannekoeken) more Dutch than British? I love them too. My grandma used to make them all the time, and she's Danish, so those huge, thin almost crepe-like pancakes must be a popular European thing. Way, way better than the battery ones here - that batter is only good for waffles.
A nice stack of American toasts (french toast but more awesome and not prone to surrendering), three eggs overasy, 6 sausage links, a rasher of bacon, some country fries on the side and a pint and a half of Blue Moon Ale. Pour House diner in Boston calls that the Breakfast of Champions.
Yogurt, eggs, bagel with cream cheese, donuts, blintz, pancakes, certain cereals, french toast, and much more.
Breakfast food is the best.
