have you seen their schedule? They only have five games against playoff teams from last year. They should be able to get 8-11 wins this year with a much improved team which would put them in the mix for the final wildcard spot.
They have the Cheatriots in their devision which means at MOST they have to hope for one of the wildcard slots.

of course, and I think the Jaguars should be able to take the top wildcard spot, but I'd give the Jets a better shot at the other wildcard spot than I would the 7-games-out-in-September Yankees passing the Red Sox

My favorite team is the Packers. Mostly just because I was raised in Wisconsin and I am locally loyal. Same applies to my favorite team of other sports.
