Too large to be pratical. Looks like it's been designed by someone that has taken size shape and manueverability into consideration. You use a pistol caliber carbine because you want to reduce the size of it. Makeing it light to carry and easy to move. This way you can keep it in a vehicle, manuever inoors easy and carry is a spare weapon.It' s hard to choose but I'd probably have to say the KRISS super v xsmg. It has extremely low recoil and I think is the sub machine gun with the lowest recoil. Google it for more info. Maybe you've seen it on Future Weapons. It shoots .45 cal. bullets in single fire, burst, or full auto modes. and because of its low recoil, it is very accurate.
My second favorite weapon would probably be a mp5k

9mmis the better choice. The ammunition is lighter. With a subgun you're firing burst anyway. So it doesn't matter if it's .45 caliber or .38 caliber other than saving weight.
Carbine format just gives a handgun a more stable platform. the 5" longer barrel give is more range power and accuracy plus the fact that is locks into your shoulder makes it stable therefore it's more accurate.
The reicever and magazine isthe problem. It's too big. Look at the MP5K or stanadar MP5. The reicer is small which greatly reduces the length and size of the carbine.
I would rather have an AR-15 Commando, the one with 9"-11.5" Barrel. Also known as the M4 commando or CAR commando. Comparing the power of a .223 or .277 rifle cartridge a .45 caliber pistol bullet is a sling shot while the rifle bullet is a cannon.

WHAT? That's not to large to be practical. It's about the size of an mp5 or smaller. the only thing that could be large is the recoil machanism box in front of the trigger gaurd. The stock can even be folded to the side and be shot with one hand and still be more accurate than being shot with a .45 cal handgun which uses the kind of ammo the KRISS uses.
