What's your favourite nation?

Now please, don't turn this thread into some sort of war, just name your favourite nation, give a few reasons for your pick, and discuss. No need to fight.

Mine is Germany - I was born there, it's a fantastic country, clean, the people respect each other(as a whole, not saying that every single person is the same), the football team is great, and it's just a fantastic nation.

This thread is (understandably) just going to be flooded with "America". :P

Anyway, my favorite countries are Japan, Germany, and the UK. And no, I'm not from any of those nations.

One that I can call home.

I can't pick between Japan and Brazil. I'm Japanese descendant Brazilian, I was born in Japan, but I lived in Brazil for most of my childhood. Japan is just a really cool country, not only for the technology or the popular animes/video games, but also for the food and culture. On the other hand, Brazilians are full of energy and really happy people, there's a great soccer team, awesome food, hot Victoria's Secret models, and a growing economy. Although there are problems with poverty and criminals, and there are plenty of rude Brazilians (which can often be found in free MMORPGS :P ). USA and Germany would probably be next on my favorite nation list.
