What's your opinions on "Chavs"? Now with pics!

Do you know what a "chav" is, it's basically a native animal that lives in UK that terrorises neighbour hoods and harrass kids.

There's many variation of chavs around the world, "neds" in Scotland, "lads" in Australia etc.

I hated them, but they are everywhere in Sydney. They act tough, 10 on 1 fights, harrassing people when thye are alone and steal their goods. Get wasted on the weekends, tag and no manners. They won't go away though, they just multiply, sadly.

So what your opinion on "Chavs"?

Americans also welcome in this discussion.

Hate them will all my might. In my opinion RAP (and all other forms of it) music is to blame. Im sure i'll get a load of abuse for saying that.

Put them in a rocket and send them to the moon, it s the only way to get rid of them for good. Unless someone wants to "take them out" I would do it, for free too :P

Genuine chavs (not the posers) are a prime example of everything that's wrong with estate projects. Feral, uneducated, destructuve mongrels is all they really are. Harry Brown had the right idea.

We have a term for chavs in the US, but I would be moderated if I said it.

Typical behaviour of chavs in their natural habitat include all kinds antisocial behaviour, ranging from loitering and heckling passers by, to assault and grevious bodily harm. And abusing the benefits system by having as many children as possible.

Since I live in Manchester, there are chavs everywhere. They have guns, we get armed robberies almost everywhere, it's pretty bad but I don't mind it.

Yes. Same with immigrants. Most welfare programmes don't actually help or encourage people benefiting from it to actually seek work. But then again, Norway has possibly the most generous welfare programme in the world yet hardly any claim from it, so there is obviously variables.

Despise them.

Frustrating when you're on the way to work in the morning and you see them lurking on the street corner drinking booze. Occasially shout some random expletives in the direction of passers by. They've no backbone when they're on their own though. Cowardly, ignorant, lazy and disruptive.

I also find it annoying when they decide to take up the whole path when you're trying to walk past, so you're either forced to shoulder barge through or make them move.

In Sydney or Melbourne, we don't call them bogans since they're mainly made up of Lebanese, Aussies, Islanders and Italians, we called them "lads" or sometime "adlays".

Hmm, they're called knackers or skangers where I'm from. Obviously a lot of them are out to cause trouble but they're not all bad.

For example one of my best mates is from a rough area of Dublin called Ballymun. He looks and sounds the part but you can't help but love the chap.

But then you get some from West Dublin who quite literally set fire to donkeys/dogs/small vulnerable animals and then hang them from trees.No word of a lie.

Some of you Brits may know of the Travelling community A.K.A Gypsies, tinkers etc.(originally from Ireland, sorry about that):oops:

They're the absolute worst of the worst but you wouldn't really label them as chavs/knackers. But they would kick the living s*** out of you if you glanced at them in a way they didn't like. But what sets them apart from chavs is they aren't afraid of anything and one little young fella would try to take on seven or eight of you with no problem. Bare knuckle boxing from the age of five and all that, they're tough little feckers.
