[QUOTE="shinian"]Being myself.themajormayorThat doesn't work Yeah that is probably the worst thing you can do.
[QUOTE="shinian"]Being myself.themajormayorThat doesn't work If you are generally likable, then being yourself is good.
Wow that sounds creepyOutside:
- "Excuse me, I know you're probably in a rush, but your beauty really caught my attention - if you don't mind take my number down, so we can talk whenever you're free?"
- "Sorry but it's going to sound brash but are you single?"
- "You've got the time?"
Indoors:
AtlanticRock
- -at restaurant in line for food- "What're you ordering, my mind's drawing a blank." OR "Can this line get any slower?"
- -making eye conact- "You've really got beautiful eyes. Where're you from?"

With girls that catch my eye I compliment them, and smile a lot and try to make them laugh while finding out what turns them on, that kind of thing.
With guys I like the look of I avoid eye contact, ignore them, say awkwardly random and meaningless vapid comments if forced into conversation etc.
The guy technique doesn't work very well at all tbh.

Which one? I'm in NYC - these usually work or grab their attention. You have to be more aggressive this day and age, girls usually have ipods or texting - go hard or go home.
Picking up guys is trivially easy, in my experience. Smiling and asking if they want to have sex usually gets the job done. I'm reminded of a line from State of Play when Bill Nighy learned how man on man hookups happen (paraphrased): "You just half-smile at someone and then have sex? That's primitive!"With girls that catch my eye I compliment them, and smile a lot and try to make them laugh while finding out what turns them on, that kind of thing.

Well it keeps them away at least.
Why you wanna keep the guys you like away?I'm reminded of a line from State of Play when Bill Nighy learned how man on man hookups happen (paraphrased): "You just half-smile at someone and then have sex? That's primitive!"xaos
Haha Bill Nighy has one of those voices you can read stuff in so that amused me even more.
Edit: Weird I just managed to glitch half my message away.

When I get my own space again next month I fully intend to revert back to this method much more often.
