On the topic of Bibles, is there any like specific version that I should get (I want to read it)?
It depends on what you want and what fits your personality.
Many people choose the NIV because it is the easiest to read while staying close to the original text.
NASB is good for in-depth study as it is a more literal translation - it's therefore a little harder to read.
ESV is a mix of those two, it's what I use for my own personal study.
If you have trouble reading the Bible from it being boring then I recommend The Message translation. The Message is a paraphrase of what is said and thus gives the general idea as opposed to being literal, it therefore looses some of it's original meaning.
If you are truly wanting to go hardcore in studying the Bible then learn the original languages, Greek and Hebrew.
Outside of different translations, you can choose different types of Bibles: study Bibles, journaling Bibles, pocket Bibles, etc. Choose the one that best fits what you need.
Study Bibles feature commentary pertaining to the text and can be good, but you have to be aware that it is a person's opinion so do not always take what is said as fact though you can typically trust what is said. Especially be careful with study Bibles in books like Daniel and Revelation. People's theological biases can be seen in study Bibles.
Journaling Bibles can be good for if you simply like to right down your thoughts or would like to write down references to other texts for future reference.
Pocket Bibles can be good for carrying around anywhere you go.
Your choice in Bible depends on your need... I therefore have about 14 Bibles for that reason. Journaling ESV, Pocket NIV, Chronological NIV, Greek, Hebrew, Spanish, The Message, etc. etc.
