It depends on the crime, under the old rules there were a lot that I would have liked to tell the user to nut up and take it like a man. Others I would agree it was "fun" so to speak

I understand that feeling.....the problem with the old ToU was retaliation was forbidden. I think more users would have handled it themselves if that wasn't the case. But as quoted in ATM ad nauseum....report and move on.:P

Well under the new rules we've essentially taken the "poking stick" from the trolls so to speak. It's not as fun for people to troll when the user can get trolled right back and not get into trouble for it. That was the challenge under the old rules was to troll and or flame in such a way that you wiggled out of a moderation. It was a challenge.

Not so anymore, which is kinda a shame, I enjoyed reading posts that ran that fine line between getting moderated and us saying "nope they got away with it"

But as it's been said, this place was one of that last to be so "strict" well, maybe a catholic website or two is more strict :P

What I've noticed so far:

Most of the normal users are acting pretty much the same.

Those with persecution complexes, chips on their shoulders, or general coping issues have basically gone off the deep end.

All in all, it's not too different from the old OT. It's nice to know I don't have wonder where I stand in that gray area of the TOU.

Also, Druss has been entertaining, no brown nosing.
