When Are You Going To Leave Your Parents' Place?

At what age or stage in your life are you going to leave ur parents house?

I'm hoping to get accepted into the med program in the University 15 minutes from my house so I dont have to worry about food , money, clothes, etc... So i'm guessing I'll probably be out by 24-25, or a lot earlier if i get accepted into a farther program...

How about you guys? If you already have left, when did u leave?

I left when I was 18.

I just moved back in due to losing my job and my license, but I moved out when I was 18. Worked my *** off too, my girlfriend and I supported ourselves and the kids pretty good until I ****** everything up. My mom is reluctant to help me out with anything and when she does the guilt trip is hardly worth it, so I'm hoping to get back out of here in a couple months.

I've already left. I'm at uni. Crumbs!

I'm probably going to college out of state, but while I'm in college I'll probably "live" with my parents during the summer, then maybe a month or two afterwards while I look for my own place.

all through high school I worked and gigged my ass off so I could move out by August two years ago. Best move I ever made. I love my parents, but we do not get along well under the same roof for an extended period of time.

When I'm done with school and can manage to find a nice apartment to live in and some good friends to split the rent.

People leave at 18? :? I turn 18 in April and i'm still in grade 12. Anywho, I'll be leaving when i'm done university just like my older brother and sister before me.

Well, for me it was the fact that where my mom lives isn't where I wanted to attend college.

When I am financially able to support myself without risk of suddenly being on the streets. It'd be silly for me to do it before that point.

After I'm done with college. I don't exactly plan on having my own place for the short while when school isn't in session.

i will live when i go to college in 5 years.

I moved out in 1996.

Moved out when I was 18, moved back in at 20 moving out again at 24. To be honest I moved back in because my mother wanted me to and I saw it as an opportunity to save money. I pay bills but I don't have to deal with my stupid landlord anymore :D and the rent bill.

When I get my college degree and get a job.

I'm thinking spring 2011.

well, I went back that summer after my freshman year of college.

and when I graduated I lived there for six months while I worked and looked for a better job

But yea, since I was 18 Ive only lived at home for 9 months.

I moved out right before my 18th birthday.

When I can support myself financially, and when I go to university.
