I already left my parents' place late August when entering my first year of university. I live on campus in a dorm.
Already did to be closer to work. Although if my mom had her way I'd still be living at home. I say stay with them for as long as you can and save your money so that when you move out you can move out comfortably.Sajedene
yea, your parents say that, but when you are at home looking for a job for a few months they cant help but yell at you "when are you going to leave!?!"
at least my parents said that

Lol I wish... my mom is really not happy that me and my sister are already moved out. She made this rule that we need to see her at least one day a weekend and always tries to get me to sleep over.[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"][QUOTE="Sajedene"]Already did to be closer to work. My mom is lucky to see my sister and me more than five times a year. Its not that I dont like going home, but I am in SLO (4 hours away) and my sister in LA and we both work a lot so its tough to go for those weekend trips.
If I was within an hour of the Bay Area I'd definately go visit but its just not practical :(
Sometimes I wish I had a big family and we had a lot of reunions and stuff. I went to my best friends family reunion a few months ago; there were like 100 people there and they were all drinking and it was awesome.
