[QUOTE="peterw007"]

Many things can happen within the next 7 months.

All it takes is one little issue with Obama, and all of a sudden Romney gets a massive surge and overtakes him.

Right now, the ball is in Obama's court.

But who knows?

Romney may have convinced everybody that Obama's stagnant policies haven't done enough to sufficiently reverse the economic tides of this country.

-

If Obama wins, I'll be disappointed.

The economy is still down, and Obama's policies weren't exactly the most successful (although I will give him credit for revitalizing some areas, like the Auto industry).

What will four more years of Obama do for anybody?

YoshiYogurt

But what would 4 years of Romney do? I don't agree with any of Romney's polices, so I'm hoping Obama wins again.

What are Romney's policies exactly? The man personal view points conflict with the crazy right and he has had to flip flop on numerous issues..

Both Obama and Romney seem fairly center right to me. Santorum was/is a lot further to the right.

He claims to support the Republican budget proposal, and it seems to be one of the few things he's embraced fully. That's enough to avoid him, IMO.

I feel that this presidential vote is more like a vote for which president will have the most funniest jokes?

I'm expecting a lot of whining from Republicans.

Technically speaking, yes. It's specific on tax cuts, vague on spending cuts, vague on which tax breaks to end, voucherizes medicare, increases the deficit in the short term, and the math doesn't add up in the long term, but it is, technically, a budget proposal.

Politics can be really unpredictable, but given the state of the republican party and its candidates, I lol at anyone expecting or wanting Obama to lose.GazaAli

I'm excited to see what Obama will do during his second term. Historically, the second term is the legacy building term so I'm thinking he will push for some serious reform but I guess we will see.

Romney would be a terrible president, so I hope he wouldn't win. I'm more interested to see what happens with congressional elections to be honest.

Many expect Republicans to lose seats in the House but still maintain control of it. Likewise, the odds of Republicans gaining seats in the Senate (and possibly taking control of it) are statistically pretty high given the number of Democrat Senators up for reelection and the number of Republican Senators up for reelection.
