People tell me that they love me all the time, which to be honest with you, makes me uncomfortable.
Firstly, most of the people who I deal with use the word "love" a lot more freely than I ever have. So it's like, I might take the trash out for a girl and she'll say "I love you MrGeezer", and then I'll just be like, "uh...thanks." But you know, I still come out of it feeling like sort of a jerk because they just told me that they loved me and I didn't have an appropriate response.
Last year sometime. I surprised a friend with a handful of gifts on their birthday and he was so unexpectedly touched that he told me that he loved me and that I made him very happy. Other than that though it's been quite some time since I've been in a relationship.
Last week sometime, but it was more like "I've got to go. Love you." So nothing really that meaningful as far as I can tell. I've actually never said with all my heart to someone that I love them. It's always been "Yeah I love you too." Its like the word hate. Its a really powerful word that you can't throw around too much and say you mean it to just random people. Theres some strong meaning behind it that is reserved for those few special people.
