When will all this negativity about Chris Brown die down?

I know, we all get it. Sheesh, he's human, just like the rest of us. Just get this over with, already! I'm sick of hearing about how bad men like him are, etc. Let him go back to his career! There are plenty of rough things going out in this world rather than this every day. This is nothing new!

Plus you can't believe everything that the media says. What happened to "Innocent Until Proven Guilty?" Not everything comes out as true, & we don't even know the whole story. There are so many innocents that are already being judged from the beginning for something that they didn't do, & then they have their namescleared in the end. I think our new internet culture and instant media allows people to think they actually know the truth until anything actually becomes official and/or something is said in a court of law. Historically,African-Americanmen are always judged guilty until proven innocent more than any other race.African-Americans have gotten the short end of the stick on this for many decades, & I think that's unfair.

This idiotic country needs to wake up. Stop jumping to conclusions based on things like this, & stop treating us African-Americans like we don't exist. We're human, too. God doesn't like ugly, & he doesn't like racists.

Yes we are all human, but some actions are not easily forgivable, brutally beating a woman is one of those taboo acts.

EDIT: Don't pull the race card on this one, it does not apply. If it was any other race it would be just as dispicable and intolerable. Beating a woman like that deserves no defense. Name a white guy that did this and he will instantly be painted as scum to me as well. Some people CANNOT STAND seeing a woman get beaten by a man, I don't care how equal the rights get.

I'm a man, & I surely believe that it's more than men abusing women, but it's actually women who abuse men. A lot more than men abusing women. Plus they get away with it. They will even lie to the police to say that their mates abused them & then it's the man who will go to jail.

Do you know why men don't report them? It's because no person will believe him & will always think that "It's impossible for men to be abused physically by a woman". I call that bullcrap. Why is it not okay for men to give a woman a black eye or whatever, yet it's okay for women? Women can be just as cunning, violent, & vicious as men. Look at such women like Andrea Yates, Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby, Clara Harris, & Casey Anthony for example, & read their stories. So, I don't believe that women are exactly helpless & defenseless. I think that both sexes ought to be treated equally when it comes to things such as this, & crime, as women have been getting away with it a lot or would wind up getting lesser sentences (especially when they're pretty or beautiful), such as having sex with teenagers, robberies, etc, while it's men who get treated harshly & wind up getting harsher sentences. I call it a double standard, plus I would also say that it's sexist at it's finest.

I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised. What about that? I do think that it's time that we stop treating women like angels, because not all of them are. They have been getting away with major things for too long. This reminds me of a 1993 Lifetime TV movie called "Men Don't Tell," starring Judith Light. In the movie, it shows a woman constantly abusing a man, & he kept having being abused by his wife, & that no one would believe him. Later on, their own daughter witnessed her mother abusing her father, & then, she slapped her daughter! That's just an example of the real life situations like that, even though it's just a movie.

The only way that I would condone hitting/killing someone is if it happens in self-defense. That's the only way I'll excuse the person from that situation. Otherwise, it shouldn't happen at all. If there's no evidence of self-defense or if they did it willingly, then they should be punished.

I personally do think it's wrong for both genders to put their hands on one another, no matter what the circumstance is.
