this is the city I lived in and grew up,it's beautiful from this view,but whatever you do,don't go near the slums,those places are dangerous(especially the east side of the city)

@sukraj: yeah,but I already told of the slums,those are not ideal for foreigners,I recommend the shopping centers in the Hotel Indonesia roundabout...and near the Stock Exchange,and plenty more,it's a shopper's paradise,believe me,the city has recorded the amount of shopping centers in the city since the local Great Sale,this time it's around 60+ places,amazing is that nearly all of them are huge.

In a Basement...

I've lived in a suburb of Chicago for most of my life. Outside of when I was 2-4 when I actually lived in Chicago, and around 6 months when I was 8 when we had to live in our summer home in Michigan. I travel quite a bit, but I have no intention of leaving the Chicagoland area, I love it here.

Pennsylvania...or as those outside the US like to refer to it as "Transylvania".

True. It's too hot to be outside during summer. When I'm at home, I stay indoors except in the mornings and evenings.

We currently reside at Arizona. The family loves it here. Not sure why. It's too hot for me.
