In the principal's office and when I walked into class I thought we were watching a movie :| I was like "Holy **** that was awesome!" and everyone stared at me.... :(steppinrazor88Yeah I had the same impression, egotistical little boy thinking a plane crashing into a building and then it falling to the ground.... My bad.
I had just stepped out of the shower when I heard my parents talking the the other room, I went in to say happy birthday to my dad, and I saw the first plane hit the tower. I really didn't think it was that big of a deal, just an accident.
When I got to school everyone was talking about the second plane, and how people had started saying it was a terrorist attack. after first period, I got called into the front office because my dad was there to take me home.

Ohhhh. :| That's got to be embarrasing.
I was in First Grade and getting ready for school when my mom turned on the TV and showed me what was going on, but i was only 6 or 7 years old so i didn't really care, 'cause i didn't really understand what was going on..
Ft. Bragg, in VACR training. Everyone was brought into the office when the first plane hit. When we saw the second plane hit, we all knew what was going on. Needless to say, the entire base was put on alert, and I spent the whole day/night guarding a road on base. A month or so later, we had boots on the ground in Afghanistan.
I was in school. Though they didn't tell us what was going on. They just acted like there was nothing wrong with half the kids leaving for home. It was scary. Being nerdy and a science fiction fan, I thougt nukes went off or something to that effect. We had no idea what was going on. Latter (at home)I found out that the trade center got hit, and that the principal wanted our parents to tell us instead of the teachers.
I never forgave him.
