I like it. I am really getting into hip hop recently. I realize before i was so into prog rock that I was getting really pretentious about other kinds of music, but now I appreciate rap and hip hop for how unique they are. The flow of the lyrics, the beats, the lyrics themselves are becoming facinating to me. I think delivery can almost ruin a good rapper. Aesop rock for example is a brilliant lyricist to me, but his delivery is so dull and flat that I get bored of him after a while. Shame though, I really love his lyrics I just wish he was more interesting with his delivery. I would say my hop hop appreciation comes partly from OT:P I would say these are my favorites right now though.

Lots of good stuff in there and glad you liked that Blu & Exile, Hip Hop needs more people listening to that.MF Doom as I said, genius
Aesop Rock is someone I never could get into because of exactly what you said, his delivery. Delivery is everything in Hip Hop and it makes a good MC. You don't really have to have the best voice, just a great style. Method Man is a good example of that.
The Roots are one of my favorite groups, Black Thought is one of the best MCs in Hip Hop and they are so talented and consistent. Not one bad album.
Brother Ali is also great, Shadows on the Sun is one of the best I've heard. His delivery is really emotional and he has the production to back it up.
Mos Def is another favorite of mine, I absolutely love Mos Def and if you like Mos Def and MF Doom, you should check out a mixtape that's out there where the DJ mixed together MF Doom and Mos Def. It's legally free since it is a mixtape but I don't want to post it since mods might crash down on me.
Black Star is also great, Talib Kweli is an MC I think you'd like and Black Star is a duo with him and Mos Def. Check them out.
Raekwon is also great but very inconsistent. Only Built For Cuban Linx I and II are both great and Only Built For Cuban Linx I is a cIassic, undisputable.
Dope list.
