Sorry to say this, but Koala isn't actually a bear. It was mistaken to be one.

Whilst Australian koalas are often referred to as koala bears, they are not actually bears but marsupials. Hence the young are carried in their mother's pouch.
The scientific name for koala is Phasclarctos cinereus.
I always wondered,are dogs and bears closely related to one another.. They show a great deal of similarities especially with their facial features to the average dog.. I always thought it was plausable looking at the relationship of small house cats compared to their gigantic cousins such as lions or tigers.
That's debatable. There are basically two schools of thought...False, black bears are better... (waits for someone to get the reference)
