Yeah, 86. I was probably about twelve or thirteen when Pokemon first hit the states, at least the cartoons and cards and hype, so I just missed out on all that.

Pokemon until I was about 10, I always hated Yu-Gi-Oh, we played beyblades a bit, but they got banned after one cut up a kids arm or something.

I was very involved with Pokemon, then Yu-Gi-Oh! a little bit. Digimon for like a day. I had one action figure (It was impossible to morph! It turned from a pig or something to an angel pig or something), and I only had one tape of two episodes.

I remember a couple of my friends played the games, but my mom was REALLY down on video games. She hated that I had a Genesis, and would NEVER have let me have a handheld. The cards and anime just passed me by, though. I remember one of my friends had some little brothers that were all into that stuff at the time. By 97 I was more into wrestling.

None of those were around when I was little.

I would have to say pokemon not the cards but the damn games I had blue red yellow stadium 1 2 and coloseum silver gold and crystal than I stoped playing but damn pokemon was my first rpg I put many hours of my life into them.

Pokemon. I never cared for the others.

I loved Pokemon a ton, but my biggest child fad was probably the Power Rangers. I'd go crazy for the merchandise and never missed an episode on TV. I was pretty obsessed.

even though i didn't get any of the games i had a MASSIVE pokemon card collection, watched the first 1-2 seasons, have the first episode on VHS, the first movie on VHS and watched Pokemon 200 in cinemas... then i became 8 and gave the cards to my little sister wihch she subsequently destroyed....:evil::evil::evil:

then i got into beyblades then yugioh (still have the cards to this day), or was it the other way round?

i'm still a SUPERMASSIVE fan of DBZ... and that'll be with me until i die.

Pokemon probably, I just enjoyed the video-games really but not the actual cards.
