I look at it like this:

Posting here w/in the rules is like a little game
-some people are better at that game than others
-some people just ignore the rules of the game (usually don't last long)
-and some people are oblivious that there is even a game being played

The people that I respect the most around here are the ones that can play the game properly (those that get across exactly what they want to w/in the rules).
Anyone can be a smartass, troll, flame, be funny, etc when there are no rules. It takes a true 'master' to do it around here under these conditions. That is why I like this site so much (enables me to easily separate and cIassify people)

Now that you mention the tthumbs thingy, I wish there is a button like this for users so that you can give them a thumb up or a thumb down. Over the time, trolls and smart asses will be really easy to point out. Tho looking at your sig, I already don't see so many thumbs up lol. j/kGazaAli

None. Don't care about my post count. Don't care about my level. I don't even remember either until I post this. :lol:

I dont like to post that much,I just like reading the convos. (I like to Lurk)So im going to have to go with level.

I'd prefer to see my level be high.

I tend to look at post count over level. Just a habit from using other forums where the vets have high post counts and the noobs have low post counts.

We need some kind of reputation system, like that thumbs up/down idea. For example, i'm not a massive level or post count, but i'd like to say i've helped lots of people on the pc hardware forum. It would be nice if there was some way of recognising that.

Post counts on GS are essentially worthless. I dont even need to tell you why.
