Ok, I'll play for a bit. Â The question asked "which European country (do) you prefer most? Â Â Nowhere in that question did it ask for a specific aspect of that country. Â Hence, I can look at pictures of the landscapes and pick a country I prefer most soley on the landscape. Â
Iceland was awesome. Really beautiful, not overcrowded, and clean air. I have a hunch that it's kind of a tough place to live, though, because of the weather and long periods of sun/darkness.

I've always heard Italy was dirty..... You say people who form opinions based on pictures are stupid, then you proceed to form an opinion on hear-say? I didn't form any opinion. I mentioned what I heard. Since he's been....he'd know. Stick to the program dude and read into things that aren't there.
I like Italy for its ridiculous beauty and history. My favourite is the UK. I think London is one of the greatest cities on earth, and I also love Liverpool. It's got a great culture and community vibe. Most of all though I think the UK, while still obviously flawed like any other country, has as close to a perfect balance of left vs right politics in the world right now. It's not a horrible every-man-for-himself vibe and it's not a ridiculous communist nanny state, it's right in the centre with a decent balance of self-determination and looking out for each other as a community, which is where I think every country needs to find itself. Just my personal thoughts though.

Germany is awesome. Stable economy, great cities, beautiful landscapes, and last (but not least)- beer everywhere. Never been to Scotland, though I do love me some scotch.
