Pokemon, I cried at the scene where Ash froze and all the pokemon started to cry and they brought him back to life (I was 5 at the time).
That's more than i can say about Avatar.
Pokemon movie was one of only 3 movies i've ever cried at. The other 2 being Hardball and Up. Avatar had such unlikeable people that I felt nothing

Well, I did cry at the end of Pokemon... not because it was sad, but that it was so cliche and hypocritical. First of all, the tears of the Pokemon bring him back to life?! That's so corny! Second, everyone is acting all sad and shocked when the Pokemon are beating the living **** out of each other, but the rest of the time they command the Pokemon to fight each other! WTF is up that? However, I will admit I loved it as a kid. Pokemon is the bomb. In conclusion, Pokemon > Avatar, but Pokemon: The First in a To-be Milked Film Franchise < Avatar
omg the first pokemon movie was quite emotional, its a shame that other then the second and third ones after that the rest all sucked.

I thought the part where the two Pikachus were fighting, and it became a brutal struggle where Clone Pika started to beat the Peaceful orginal pika was a very powerful scene. I couldn't watch it. Almost went to tears.
I grew out of pokemon around the time that the movies started coming out. Still, half of the people on this forum were still drinking out of sippy cups back then.
I thought Cameron did a good job evoking emotion for the main characters characters in Avatar, Neytiri especially.
Not one character was likable.I cried during Pokemon.
I didn't even care about anyone by the end of Avatar.
The answer is clear. :P
