i am particularly interested in ps2 console and games, as well yet to grab a ps2 sadly, so amazon says no to electronicals, any good website where i can buy a ps2 and some ps2 games? also with international shipping rates as low as 2$? i am from India, i think purchasing from abroad is a better option for a ps2 then buying a no guarantee ps2.

and will i require la credit card?

I live in the Philippines and well, it's pretty much impossible to try and get stuff from America to get shipped here. Even if you had everything needed and the website allowed international shipping, it's gonna cost an arm and a leg to get it to you. You may want to try www.play-asia.com, it's also pretty expensive but it won't cost as much as shipping from America. Also it's based in Hong Kong so you'll get your stuff faster.

EDIT: Credit cards and Paypal are normally used when purchasing online but it's not required. Depending on your bank, you could do a cash transfer from your account to the site's account. You could also use Western Union to transfer cash but it's not recommended since it costs a lot. Don't worry about the site, it's legit and safe. I got a few games and my Rock Band 2 drum set from the site. Just remember to ALWAYS choose FedEx. Free and cheap shipping is alright but unreliable and take a long time.

No idea, that's just the way things work. But even if you find an online store that ships electronics internationally, it'll cost you a hell lot. For video games online, you can't go wrong with play-asia ;)

its around 2000 to 3000 more expensive in playasia, but i guess thats a fact.

and yes a ps3 is out then again does it have all versions have that ps2 backward compatibilism? nope, also thats 5 times more expensive then a ps2, also i would require an hd tv, i have an akai bad tv 27 inch it says but its only 23 inch at best so yeah, besides i would not waste ps2 titles for ps3 ones, i will buy a ps3 until i get rich, even ps2 is causing me two months salary currently pal, thats this hard in a poor people country like mine, or is it that since i am poor?

also i know some games are only available for a ps2 i like suikoden and its sequel in order to play later suikodens i need a ps2.

Not too sure about that since I've never owned a PS2 but from what I know: NTSC-J = Japan PAL = Europe NTSC - America "Asian" consoles = Japanese or American console with the right power cord.

I have the 60GB PS3 - it plays all my PS2 games, also it has that RGB connection (I think that is what it's called) so no HD TV needed. However since money is an issue, then PS2's are still awesome :D ish also what is suikdoens ?
