In a way, children should be exposed to sex. I'm not saying you should pop some hardcore pornography in the VCR and stick them in front of it, but children should know about their downstairs plumbing and all.

As long as the exposure to sex doesn't involve any coercion (either physical or psychological), I see no harm in it at all. It's surely far preferable to exposing a child to violence.

In Ancient Greece 13 year olds would do it all the time. When they're ready they're ready I say. Sex is like shaking a hand. Nothing special. How is kissing someone on the cheek less hardcore than giving oral sex? It's not in my opinion.

What if he or she starts feeling sexual arousal to others and thus are confused. To me, when they start feeling sexual arosual, it's natures way of saying, "You're ready". But maybe that's just some insane liberal psychobabel to some people.

i would say Violence. but i will also say that one should at least not intentionally expose children to sex either. neither of the two things are part of what a good childhood is. when they are ready for the sex bit, they will explore that for them self in their own good time. ideally, violence is something no one should never be a victim of

Yes, and it's also worth noting that even the Bible doesn't have the notion of an arbitrary "age of consent". In Biblical times, marriage was the only prerequisite for "morally acceptable sex", and there was no minimum age for marriage.

I'm assuming your joking, with the sig and the liberal view of drugs you have... Yeah I was. It's up to the parents and no one else :). Although when I have kids I will to everything I can to make them be comfortable and understand sex. And I'm sure even without me they will see alot of violence, so I will explain my opinions on the matter over time and hopefully they will turn out fine! As for violent video games and such they can go for it!

Considering that sex is a natural and beautiful act (not pornographic sex but "real" sex) between consenting adults and violence is an unnatural and disgusting act I would much rather my children see and learn about sex than violence.
I'm going to make sure to give my children to sex-ed as early as I can.

Because it's immoral and evil, and a womans breast shall NEVER be shown in public, they are inferior beings to us men and they must stay at home at night, and when in need to leave the house, must be accompanied by men. They must also serve their husbands in time of sex. However, it must be with the lights off because seeing a sex organ is immoral.
