I know I have done these kinds of threads before, but I like sharing music so what can I say:P I like Andrew Bird the most.

I have never heard of ANY of those people. Are they from bands? I don't much look into band member's names.XilePrincesssame im not even sure who some of these people are
After lissening to them all ive got to say M. Ward. Even though Ray Lemontange has the better voice, M. Ward has much better lyrics imo
Wolls
M. Ward is my second choice after Andrew Bird. What did you think of Bird? His lyrics can be very weird but I think they are fantastic. Just look at these lyrics to his song Oh No:)
In the salsify mains
of what was thoughtful and sad
all the calcified arhythmatists
were doing the math.
And it would take a calculated
blow to the head to
blind the eyes of all the harmless
sociopaths. Oh
Arm in Arm we are the harmless
sociopaths. Oh
arm in arm with all the harmless
sociopaths
Calcium mines you buried
deep in your chest. Oh the
calcium mines you buried
deep in your chest.
Hoo-oo-oo
you're deep in a mine,
hoo-oo-oo
a calcium mine
o-o-oh.
Lets get out of here
past the atmosphere,
squint your eyes and no one
dies or goes to jail,
past the silver bridge
oh the silver bridge
wearing nothing but a
one-sie and a veil.
Love it:D
I really like Ray Lamontagne´s voice, he´s got a certain vintage sound to it.

I know what you mean. Especially songs like You are the best thing and let it be me. He kinda reminds me of that band Chicago for some reason mixed with a bit of the eagles.
Of them...? I suppose Andrew Bird, although if Bon Iver releases a few more albums I can see myself preferring him, he gives me a Nick Drake vibe; whom I adore.
Also, I guess I'm just biased as a music nut, but I tend to view most of these as relatively well-known. Which is why many of these replies perplex me.

I thought they were kinda well known too, especially Ryan Adams who has been around for years. I heard Bon Iver's new album recently and it wasnt as good as his last. It was pretty good though, still worth a listen.
[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"]Matt Barlow. I have no idea who any of the people on your poll are >.>Film-Guy
Doesnt mean you can pick somebody who isnt on the poll silly:P
I can guarantee even with out listening to any of them that Barlow is far better any way so..>.>Please Log In to post.
