LoL's community is a complete joke. Their developers and moderators want it that way - even in game. They banned a "pro" player for insulting bad players. No matter how insulting there's no reason to ban a player in a video game over it unless he was actually griefing in repeated matches, and he wasn't. Their pro community is comparable to the slightly above average players of HoN/DotA and DotA2 anyway...
Reddit and 9gag are probably the two worst communities on the internet at the moment for obvious reasons: the mindnumbingly inept posts and the "humor" which isn't creative or of any substantive quality. It wasn't always like that, at least on Reddit, but it's become that way now.

I don't visit a lot of communities, but YouTube comes to mind if that counts. Depends some on the videos, but you can still find the most racist, absurd, and obnoxious comments on about any video.SoNin360

The game Left 4 Dead has the worst playing ground I've encountered. People constantly flame you over mics and messages. Clans would stack teams and boot people. People seem disinterested in playing the game screwing up the dynamics. Its so much more frustrating given the emphasis on team work.
