Which Side Of The Family You Like More Mom's Or Dad's?

I prefer my father's side - they are more techy and westernized.

One side is a bunch of A-holes who like to put you on the spot for things like college, and jobs(and it's not like when I get somewhere in this world that they are getting any money)

The onther side are a bunch of stuck up losers who hate each other, always hiding something, are always down and overly emotional, let people walk all over them, basically a bunch of liars and procrastinators.

And it shows well in my mom and dad which Is why I don't really care for either side. I'm only worrying about finishing college, moving away, get a job and starting my own family which I can keep away from them and hopefully make better than my own family.

This thread helped me realize I need to know my cousins better :( Well I have 8 sets of first cousins, 2 sets of which I haven't met, 2 sets I haven't met in over 10 years and another 2 sets which I haven't met within 5 years. Only 2 sets do I meet on a regular basis :(

In that case, between those two my mom's side wins by far. I can't choose among the others because they're all babies or I only met them when they were babies.

I see more of my mums family than my dads, but I like them all the same.

My mom's cousins, nieces and nephews no offense to dad :P

My mum has no one on her side besides 2 aunts and 2 cousins (that i know off) and even then i have only seen them a few times when i was younger. My dad's family however all live in the same city so i have seen them all alot. so my dad's side would be my answer.

My grandmother and father had 6 boys and 6 girls, so I have 5 aunties and 6 uncles (one of whom died [the funeral 8 years ago or something]), and on Friday we had my grandmothers funeral.

Anyway, my sister and I, and the only cousin we were ever close to, were like "Do you know any of these people?" and none of us did, lol. I had to get my mum to introduce us to everybody. It was weird. Admittedly I did know of some cousins, and most of my uncles and aunties, but I was still at a loss for quite a few.

That being said, not a whole lot of the family gets along. For the most part we're okay, but there's still huge pockets of petty sqaubbles.

My mom's. Even though I barely see them since they live in another country, they party so much and are fun to be around whenever I go. :)

I don't really know my mom's side of the family that well, so my dad's side by default.

My mom's whole family, except for a couple people, lives in Scotland.

My dad's whole family, except for a couple people, lives in Texas.

hmmm.......both, i like my aunts, uncles, cousins on my moms side, same as my dads.....but there are a few arrogant brits on my moms side that i dont associate with much

Don't know/ see any one on my dads side so my mums.

Mom's by far. If I could only choose one half of the family to go with me to another planet, leaving the other half to die a fiery death here on Earth, I'd pick my mom's family in a heartbeat.

I'll have to go with my mom's side. My dad's side is filled with too much underhandedness and hidden agendas. My mom's side has some too, but not as much.

Neither. If it was up to me I would have nothing to do with 98% of my family.

My mum's side. She has like 11 brothers and sisters and each of them have like 10 kids so when we all get together it's pretty awesome. My dad's side is like terrible. His dad is crazy, though I pity him, and his two sisters expect my dad to support their families and his brother is all "you should beat your wife" and is an overall jackass.

My mother's side. They live in the UK so I unfortunetly only see them every 3-4 years. My dad's side is annoying, they are French Canadian and I personally get along a lot better with the Brits, I'm not into the whole French Canadian thing...
