WW2 is probably the most interesting to me, just because it has so much drama behind it. But honestly... wars are not cool. They aren't meant for our entertainment.

I sure as hell wouldn't choose the war he/she died in, then. Simple as that.

There is no "cool" war but whether which war was interesting to learn about. I'm hoping that's what you meant.
I personally thought the Cold War was the most interesting subject to learn about, not because it was just two countries fighting on, "which has the most nukes" without a nuclear holocaust but because of the propaganda, media, and fear at the time. While all the wars had a lot of propaganda as well, it was nothing compared to the Cold War's. Plus, the U.S.'s foreign policy was very interesting to learn about.
