Never? Nothing. Everything that's out there now can and will be improved upon by someone else at some point down the line.kamikaze_pigmyi cant see anything coming out anytime soon or in the future that would defeat youtube, google is a possibility another search engine can take over, but what can take over youtubes spot...i cant see it..

YouTube has been around for 6 years. The internet could easily be around for the next few hundred years.
Google.
Facebook and Twitter could theoretically die out if they start losing millions of users (though that's not likely), and YouTube's popularity could be in trouble with this whole copyright streaming thing. Google, on the other hand, faces no possible threat whatsoever. It has a complete monopoly over search engines and the internet in general. So yeah, Google.
[QUOTE="sonicare"][QUOTE="Cloud_765"]The site which cannot be named. Cloud_765Voldemort.com? No. Not even close. Foxnews.com?
[QUOTE="Cloud_765"][QUOTE="sonicare"] Voldemort.com?sonicareNo. Not even close. Foxnews.com? I give you the number it starts with: 4.

Youtube could become a unmoderated uncensored forum if that happened.Vevo and other corporations are going to draw people away from youtube, only a matter of time.wiifan001Vevo? I've never heard of it, but I'm sure it'll take away some users. You can't have a userbase as massive as youtube without losing a few somewhere along the line. I think google will probably last the longest.

Hopefully GameSpot sticks around, otherwise I would have to find another volunteer job :P

For real?
I know putting real world volunteer jobs on your resume/application can help, but I never imagined something like Gamespot...solidruss
Of course it is, depending on what you're working for it can make a major difference
My reaction exactly. But yes...what would the job description be? Squashing trolls online with a virtual reality hammer in order to make the community a safer place? :P
