Wolverine. Healing powers would be so useful in both every day life and crime fighting, plus they are not obvious so I wouldn't get noticed. Retractable claws are just a nice bonus.

Professor X, Kitty Pryde, Multiple-Man, or Quicksilver.

probably Xavier's, or Jean's at full potential without the Phoenix after effect ahah There are others that would be more fun, or flashy, but not as practical And those saying wolverine, you know the adamantium claws aren't part of his powers right? You could hope for bone claws depending on the lore, but in reality all he has are healing powers.HybridPhoenix

Wolverine doesn't have super strength. All weapon-x gave him was adamantium. He has healing abilities, bone claws before weapon-x, and heightened senses. According to Origins, he had all that before weapon-x (except the adamantium, of course.)bleehum

Understatement of the decade. :D He survived being vapourated by an atomic bomb not so long ago. He's got all the usual stuff as well. Super strength, heightened senses and all that junk.

Wolverine doesn't have super strength to something like the Hulk but he has strength much greater than a regular man.. This was enhanced by Adamantium simply due to the fact that his bones were the first to give in with pressure instead of his muscles..

Having Wolverine's power doesn't give you an adamantium skeleton, his super power his heightened senses, bone claws and healing.Mu5uk0

He has increased strength and reflexes as well that put him much beyond a normal man. In the comics he is able to do things like raise the weight of 8 men with one arm and what not.. He is extremely strong, just not as ridiculous strong if we compare him to characters like Thor, Hulk etc etc.

I would choose to have Wolverine's powers. His healing abilities are amusing and I would love to have them.

-I don't think so. Marvel.com says that since his skeleton is reinforced he can lift 600 lbs or so for an instant. I mean, his mutation was set loose, but I doubt he was benching a lot more. Not to mention, Magneto ripping the adamantium out of him was a blow to his pride.
