Do white people need to have pride in the colour of their skin or "culture". Why do they need to celebrate an opportunity to celebrate their race or culture when it is the norm? Maybe if there was an ex-pat community in a foreign country they'd be justified in having an "American day" or whatever but not in America. What is 4th July for?

Why should we takepride inour skin color? We don't choose it, so what's the point?

I take pride in what I've achieved because I've made those choices.

Taking pride in our heritage as white people is just ridiculous.

correct me if i'm wrong but don't people celebrate black history month because that's the month when alot of black people came up with scientific/political/social breakthroughs and not to celebrate their skin color? which means that there is no white history month because most white people didn't find a breakthrough in any particular month.

I say we should celebrate our cultures from our country of origin, because chances are our great great grandchildren won't be able to since the world has merged into one faceless culture.

I think everyone should be proudof whothey are as a person, Not a Race.. Everyone is equal no matter where you come from or what color your skin is.. I keep my head held High not because of my Race or where Im from but who I am as a person..
