Old people have more influence despite the fact that they're crazy/out of touch. Kids are harmlessJML897

They do their equal part. I find that elderly people always need the milk on the top shelf, and I happen to always be there. Kids just like to see how far they can push you before you lash out at one of them.
This my God this!!!!In general, old people. Working in retail, old people are often a nightmare to deal with.Â

Being around kids is the one of the few things that annoy me. If I'm eating at Subway or something, and I see a kid kind walking around my area.. I'll move to the complete opposite side.
But old people are so annoyingly slowI don't hate either group... In general, they're the easiest people to get alog with.
It's the 40 year old yuppies yo ned to watch out for.

Love kids. Don't really care for old people, even though I have some wonderful ones in my life. I know I'll be old someday, somewhat of a waste of resources myself, but I have no reason to hate them, especially not for being old. Why would I hate something or somebody so harmless? Exactly because they take up resources? Please, if I don't care about the elderly, why would I care about something like that?Â
I'm edgy and I don't really care for the world or what happens to it beyond my end. *Puts on sunglasses* So edgy. yeaaaaap Â

can you elaborate?
I don't hate either. But since I work with kids I'm gonna say a small minority of closed-minded old people who judge us young ones.
Kids these days would be a lot better if the parents weren't narcissistic as$holes who won't discipline their children and let them run around like animals.
Kids. There's nothing I hate more than a parent that does nothing when their little shit children are bouncing off of the walls.sammyjenkis898
I don't hate kids, but boy can I sympathize with this statement.
One time I was visiting my grandmother and she had a friend over. Her friend had her cousin with her and the cousin had her little girl with her.
I got stuck with entertaining the little girl and I was apalled at how bad her behavior was and the fact that her mother was witnessing this bad behavior and doing nothing about it. Afterwards, my grandmother apologized to me for what I had to go through.

I consider myself an "oldie but a goodie". :D
Kids are ok. It's the lousy parents I have a problem with. They need to take parenting classes and stop being their kid's FRIEND! WAKE UP PEOPLE! YOU ARE A PARENT NOT A FRIEND. You can be a freakin' friend after your kids are grown up. For now, BE A FREAKIN' PARENT!
Hate is a strong word, but ugh some kids are annoying as hell. If you want to bring your kids out in public, keep them behaved.Â
Neither, both the elderly and children can teach you a great deal, Old folks provide wisdom thru their talks and actions while children actually raise the parents by keeping them focused on setting good examples. I have some friends with kids and they always straighten up and act "proper" when ever their kids are present.
having worked construction for a while in a retirement community, I have to say old people.
Kids are naive, old people are ignorant.
Kids can learn and adapt and be educated, old people are stuck in their ways.
Kids have a brighter outlook on life, old people are bitter and sour.
I do not hate anyone, though, and I like most old people. Â

We were all children at some point in life, and I'm sure some of us here were nerve wreckers. If i'm fortunate enough to live to be a old man I think I will be fine with the younger generations. Having kids is a must, as an elderly person I will want company from familiars. Not sure if they would want to care of me, but I will let it be known that I wiped their ass when they were young so it's only right they return the favour....that's if they don't toss me in a nursery home for that very reason.
